CFSound III Wiring Examples

CFSound II+ to Normal Motion Sensor Wiring

Wiring the CFSound III to a "Push Button" Switch

The CFSound III can be connected to any normally open or normally closed switch.  The photo to the right shows the CFSound III wired to our Push Button switch.  We sell this switch as our "1.4" Push Button", which mounts in a 1.13" hole.

Name the file that you want to play when the switch is pressed(closed) "19c.wav", since we are connecting to the Normally Open contact of our push button switch. IE the contacts close when the switch is pressed.

Don't forget to connect your Speakers, up to Pins 1 & 2, and 3 & 4!  Pin #1 is the left speaker positive, and Pin #2 is the left speaker negative. Pin #3 is the right speaker positive, and pin #4 is the right speaker negative.

Connections:
CFSound IIINormal Size Motion Sensor
Pin #5Switch N.O. Contact
Pin #10 with solid black wire from wall transformer Switch COM Contat

CFSound II+ to Normal Motion Sensor Wiring

Wiring the CFSound III to the "Normal Sized Motion Sensor"

The CFSound III can be connected to any motion sensor used with wired security systems.  The photo to the right shows the CFSound III wired to the GE AP100 Motion Sensor.  We sell this sensor as our "Normal Sized Motion Sensor".

Name the file that you want to play when the motion sensor is triggered "19o.wav", since the motion sensor output is normally closed, and opens when it sees motion.

Don't forget to connect your Speakers up to Pins 1 & 2, and 3 & 4!  Pin #1 is the left speaker positive, and Pin #2 is the left speaker negative. Pin #3 is the right speaker positive, and pin #4 is the right speaker negative.

Connections:
CFSound IIINormal Size Motion Sensor
Pin #5Pin #3
Pin #10 with solid black wire from wall transformer
and wire going to pin #1 of motion sensor.
(You can optionally install a jumper between Pin #1 & Pin #4 in the motion sensor)

CFSound III to Micro Motion Sensor Wiring

Wiring the CFSound III to the "Small Sized Motion Sensor"

The CFSound III can be connected to any motion sensor used with wired security systems.  The photo to the right shows the CFSound III wired to the SPY4RTE-B Motion Sensor.  We sell this sensor as our "Small Sized Motion Sensor".

Name the file that you want to play when the motion sensor is triggered "19c.wav", since the motion sensor output is normally open, and closes when it sees motion.

CFSound IIISmall Size Motion Sensor
Pin #5White wire
Pin #9 with white stripe wire from wall transformerRed wire
Pin #10 with solid black wire from wall transformer Black wire
CFSound II+ Wiring  The wires on the Small Motion Sensor are molded in to the housing at the factory, so no connection changes are required!

CFSound III 8 Switch with 8 Speaker Wiring

Wiring the CFSound III to 8/16 Switches with 8/16 Corresponding Speakers

The CFSound III can have 16 push buttons and 16 speakers connected and direct the audio that is played when the push button is pressed to the corresponding speaker.  Motion sensors may be used instead of or in combination with push buttons.  Any motion sensor used with wired security systems should work.  For convenience, we sell two different Motion Sensors.

Connect 1 to 16 speakers, 1 to 16 push buttons and or motion sensors , name your audio files so that they correspond with the push button or motion sensor, and you're done. When the push button is pressed, or motion sensor is triggered, the corresponding audio file will play through the corresponding speaker.
