Simply install the DMX IO Module, and connect your DMX lighting network. DMX Channel #1 ramps up to a set brightness when audio file #1 plays. When Audio file #1 stops playing, DMX channel #1 ramps down to a set brightness. Plug a DMX light dimmer into the CFSound III, set the base DMX address of the dimmer, and your lighting is ready to go. The DMX IO Module also has eight contact sense input triggers, and eight 8-Bit Analog inputs as well.

CFSound III DMX Connection

CFSound III DMX Master Lighting Controller As a DMX Master the CFSound III sends out DMX commands to devices on the DMX network. DMX Dimmer packs, relays, motor controllers, Servos, Video Switching, and more, can now all be controlled.

Dimmer Pack - If you set the base address of a four channel DMX dimmer pack to address #1, when audio file #1 plays, channel #1 will fade on, then when audio file #1 stops playing, channel #1 will fade off.
Addind a second four channel DMX dimmer pack, and setting its base address to #5, when audio file #5 plays, channel #1 on the second DMX dimmer pack will fade on, then fade off when audio file #5 stops playing. You can continue adding dimmer packs to have light outputs for all of your audio files.

CFSound III DMX Slave Lighting Controller As a DMX Slave the CFSound III listens for DMX commands on the DMX network. Commands are sent from the DMX controller to play or trigger the playing of audio tracks specified by the DMX command. Control of the volume level is also available using DMX commands.

CFSound III DMX files DMX Scenes can be used by adding corresponding ".DMX" text files to the compact flash card that get played out when the corresponding audio file is played. This allows the CFSound III to set a DMX lighting scene for each audio file that is played. Seperate DMX channel values can be sent for both when the corresponding audio file starts playing, and when the audio file stops playing.

The expandable inputs & outputs, along with the audio file name conventions, allows the user to create a complete interactive exhibits, kiosks, or displays, using just the CFSound III. Make your visitors stop & listen & learn.
